Al Hijaz Company for Chocolate – Food Industry, located in Tulkarem and established in 1973. Al Hijaz currently produces and sells three chocolate brands: Best, Revera and Twisty. Mr.Taher Hijaz, General Manager and one of the owners, plans to expand his business and start exporting chocolate into new potential markets such as Algeria and Saudi Arabia. Al Hijaz intends to get more knowledge on how to improve the quality of the existing chocolate types. To do so, FNMD will co-finance Al Hijaz and help the company purchase specific books and attend regional and international workshops and trainings. With FNMD support, Al Hijaz also plans to conduct a market campaign in the targeted new markets and implement a CRM system to track customers orders.

Raya for Media and Publishing, Media and Ad production. Located in Ramallah and established in 2008. Mr. Bassem Romi, General Manager, is expanding the business by adding a news agency to the existing FM radio and ad production to develop a local programming that focuses o Palestinians daily life. FNMD will help the company by developing a new page linked to the Raya FM website, promotional events and materials to launch Raya news, and marketing training for new staff.

Dynamic Link LTD, Tourism Industry. Located in Jerusalem and established in 1994. Mr. Shakib Husseini, General Manager and owner, plans to expand his business by opening an on-line shop for Palestinian handicrafts. This on-line shop will be able to accept credit card payments and handle shipping to any country in the world. In addition, Dynamic Links will also feature some of its products on the www.mecca.com website, an on-line shop for Islamic items. FNMD will support Dynamic Links in conducting a marketing campaign to promote their product range available through the Islamic items website. Furthermore, FNMD will support the development of Dynamic Links‘ own web-store as well as co-finance launching activities.

ID Management Consultants, a Consulting firm specialized in IT and Quality Standards Consultancy. Located in Ramallah and established in 1997. Dr. Amjad Ghanem, CEO and owner, has recently opened a new office in Abu Dhabi, from where he intends to provide consultancy and training services to clients in GCC countries. In particular, Dr Ghanem aims to offer specialized training to help clients comply with Halal Food Standards. ID, with FNMD support, plans to conduct a market survey in the target markets, attend Abu Dhabi Halal exhibition, and promote Halal certification through B2B meetings. In addition, Dr Ghanem intends to develop a tailored website and other promotional materials.
