Palcon Contracting Co. - Construction. Established in 2004 and based in Gaza. Activity of the construction sector in Gaza has been severely affected by the ongoing closure. In order to overcome the difficult economic situation, Mr Hashim Skaik, the owner of Palcon Contracting, is looking forward to carry on with implementing his innovative idea of developing a cost control software that will assist real estate developers in managing and controlling the costs of construction projects. This software will be promoted locally and regionally. FNMD will support Palcon Co. by co-financing further software development along with packaging and designing for this product, as well as contributing to local & regional promotion activities to launch the innovative product in both West Bank and U.A.E .

Energy Consortium - a group of companies comprising Amer Project for Water Desalination, Salem and Marwan El Helou Co. Located in Gaza. A group of companies located in Gaza are planning to develop a water desalination unit that operates on solar energy. The current prototype produces 20 liters of fresh water daily. FNMD is helping the consortium to develop a more efficient unit, to be sold in local and regional markets.

Group of 6 tourism institutions: Sancta Maria Hotel, Bethlehem Hotel, Shepherd Hotel, New Metropole Hotel, Murad Tourist Resort, Palestine Tourism Investment Co. In a consortium led by the Arab Hotel Association Union, these hotels plan to attend an international tourism trade show in Spain to exhibit their services, highlighting the competitive advantages of tourism in Palestine. By co-financing the costs associated with attending the fair, FNMD will support the group‘s effort to promote the wide range of tourist attractions and holy sites that can be visited in Palestine to an international audience.

Group of 10 companies from different sectors, including construction, metal manufacturing, home textiles, handicrafts, paper manufacturing, food processing and stone & marble . In a consortium led by the PalTrade, these companies plan to attend a trade show in Khartoum to exhibit their products and services to regional buyers. By co-financing the costs associated with attending the trade show, FNMD will support the group‘s effort to introduce the wide range of available Palestinian products and services to regional markets. FNMD co-financing will cover items such as booths design and construction, developing a shared catalogue, as well as travel costs.

PalTech Company, ICT, located in Ramallah and established in 2005. Mr Montaser Abbadi, General Manager and one of the owners, plans to introduce a new customer service concept to provide a variety of on-site IT/MIS support services.With FNMD support, the company will conduct a market research to assess the potential of such a service offering in the local market; develop a website and a CRM system; and qualify the staff with training sessions to handle the new system. Finally, FNMD will co-finance the roll-out of the company‘s launch campaign.
