Group of tourism organizations: Grand Hotel Bethlehem, Shepherd Hotel, ACA Travel and Tourism and Laila Tours & Travel, located in Bethlehem.

In a consortium led by Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, these hotels and tour operators plan to attract tourists from the Far East. With FNMD co-financing, the group will attend the Arabian Travel Market 2009 in Dubai. Since many international agencies and key market players will be present at this event, there is a great opportunity for the Bethlehem based companies to initiate contacts with potential partners abroad.

Al Waha for Industry and Trade, Agro-business. Located in Jenin and established in 2001.

Mr. Mahdi Abu Baker, Production Manager, intends to improve Al Waha‘s juices and re-launch them in the local market, at competitive prices.
Al Waha will conduct a business visit to Turkey to learn more about new production equipment and technology. Besides, FNMD will help Al Waha to acquire the formula required to improve their products and support the development of improved packaging for the company‘s products.

Muhanna Games Factory, Toys manufacturing. Located in Tulkarem and established in 2000.

Muhanna Factory produces mainly walkers and small chairs for babies. Mr. Munzer Muhanna , General Manager and one of the owners, plans to develop 3 new products.
With FNMD support, Mr.Muhanna will visit China to acquire the designs and specs for these new products and attend an exhibition. FNMD will also provide co-financing to promotional materials to showcase Muhanna‘s products in a more professional manner.

Fakker Company, Educational services. Located in Ramallah and established in 2006.

Mr. Mohannad Amrieh, General Manager and one of the owners, plans to launch a new service, namely training students and student supervisors on using robots for educational purposes in the West Bank.
Fakker with FNMD support will conduct a market research on the targeted segment of the local market and a plan on how to best reach the potential customers.
